Karachi Kings’ brilliant start
Karachi Kings have started the event well and have won the first position on the points table by winning their first two matches. The team’s balanced batting and excellent bowling in the last overs have been the main reasons for their success.
Teams performance
Peshawar Zalmi is also unbeaten so far, however, they had to live with a point when the match against Islamabad United was abandoned due to rain. Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans have also consolidated their positions with one victory each, while Quetta Gladiators have also secured a place in the top 4 race by winning one of their two matches.
Tough challenge for new teams
The tournament’s new teams, Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi Pindis, have not had a great start. Both teams are still looking for their first win and are at the bottom of the points table.
